DORSHA WRITES
Every good and perfect gift comes from God—and writing is one of mine. God has given me the ability to translate emotion into words and connect with readers on a soul level.

Between 2007 and 2019, under the pen name DD Jewell, I published the inspirational fiction series Shattered—four interwoven stories about successful yet broken young professionals who discover that only God can truly mend a fractured soul.

In 2021, I released my first nonfiction book, #GirlDad: 10 Lessons I Learned From My Dad, inspired by a viral #FocusFriday post that reached more than 145,000 people on LinkedIn. In #GirlDad, I share ten timeless principles my father instilled in me as a single parent—lessons of resilience, character, and faith.

Today, my work extends beyond books. I have written multiple screenplays adapted from my literary projects—each designed to inspire transformation, healing, and hope. All of my published works, including Shattered and #GirlDad, are proudly registered with the Library of Congress.
