Every good and perfect gift comes from God. God gifted me the ability to convey emotions and thoughts through writing and connect with readers in meaningful ways. Between 2007 and 2019, under the pseudonym DD Jewell, I published an inspirational fiction series of four novels titled Shattered. The Shattered series unveils four successful yet broken young professionals, who find roadmaps to the only ONE who can mend broken souls.

In 2021, I published my first nonfiction book, #GirlDad 10 Lessons I Learned From My Dad. I was inspired to write #GirlDad after one of my #FocusFriday LinkedIn posts went viral reaching over 145,000 people. In #GirlDad, I share 10 principles I learned from my Dad, who raised me as a single father.
